Tour of the Tien-Shan

Manas-Ala-Archa-Bishkek Airport
Meeting at Manas airport. Arrival in the city and accommodation at the hotel. After breakfast departure to the national reserve "Ala-Archa" is one of the most picturesque and popular places in Kyrgyzstan! The mountain slopes of the gorge are covered with alpine and subalpine meadows. Lunch in the national yurt on the nature. Next, we conquer the heights and float in the sky on a paraglider (optional). We return to the hotel and the rest of the day relax.
Day 02
Bishkek - Son-Kul
After breakfast, transfer to the fabulous Son-Kul lake (3,616 m) through the Sarybulak pass (3,500 m). Son-Kul, by right, is called the miracle of the Tien Shan. On the shores of this magnificent lake, surrounded by mountains, stretch huge pastures. It is believed that it is here that the true life of the nomads survived: snow-white yurts, hospitable shepherds and flocks of sheep. This lake will take a worthy place in your travels! Along the way we will make a rest in nature and have a small picnic. By dinner we will arrive at the lake. If desired, you can watch national horse games. For dinner, you will be offered dishes from freshly caught fish, or a shish kebab from a tasty lamb. Overnight in a yurt is the national dwelling of nomads.
Day 03
Son-Kul - Tash-Rabat
After breakfast, we offer an excursion to ancient rock paintings - petroglyphs, or, if desired, to watch the spectacular spectacle - national horse games. Further the road to Naryn, along the way we will overcome high passes, winding serpentines, we will make beautiful photos. Naryn is remarkable for the fact that the city's life preserved an ancient, original culture, with national traditions and customs. Lunch in nature is a picnic. Arrival in the city and accommodation in the hotel "Celestial Mountains", dinner.
Day 04
Tash-Rabat - Lake. Chatyr-Kul - Tash-Rabat
After breakfast, walking (or horse riding - if desired) hike to Lake Chatyr-Kul (track-8-9 h.) And return. Lake Chatyr-Kul is the highest mountain lake in Tien Shan, in translation from Kyrgyz "Heavenly Lake", its depth is 16.5 m. For most of the year the lake is covered with ice, even in summer! Picnic in nature. Return to Tash Rabat and night in yurts.
Day 05
Tash-Rabat - Kochkorka - Bokonbaevo
After breakfast, drive to. Bokonbaevo, through the sandy hills and rocky mountains. By lunchtime, arrival in the village. Kochkorka, where we not only see the show of making a small felt rug, but also take part in the creation of our own rug. Day 06
Bokonbaevo - Karakol
After breakfast we will go to the city of Karakol. Our path will run along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, which is called the pearl of Kyrgyzstan! Today we are waiting for an excursion to the famous gorge of Djety Oguz (translated from Kyrgyz as "seven bulls"). The red color rocky canyons are so magnificent and unusual that they were even depicted on postage stamps in Soviet times, and the Rock Broken Heart is the most popular pilgrimage place for lovers. There was not a single tourist who would not come to "wild delight" from the magic landscape of the Jetyoguz gorge! Lunch on the way. Hotel accommodation. Today we will see the show - the preparation of the national dish - lagman.
Day 07
Karakol-Cholpon-Ata
Breakfast, short sightseeing tour around the city of Karakol (former Przhevalsk): we will see the ancient wooden Church of the Holy Trinity (1911) and the Dungan mosque built in the style of the Buddhist Pagoda, as well as the museum of the Przewalski - the famous explorer of the Tien Shan. Further we are waited by a trip to magnificent Grigorievskoe and Semenovskoe mountain gorges. Lunch in nature. For dinner, arrival and accommodation in a boarding house on the azure shore of Issyk-Kul.
Day 08
Cholpon-Ata - Bishkek
Before dinner, sunbathe and bathe, refresh your body and fill with energy. Further departure to Cholpon-Ata and excursion to the cultural and historical complex "Rukh Ordo" (Center of Five Religions). Today we are returning to Bishkek, on the way we will visit the Burana Tower - a minaret built in the 11th century on the territory of the capital of the Karakhanid Khaganate, the city of Balasagun. The Kaganate was the largest feudal state. Arrival in Bishkek. Oriental bazaar and buying souvenirs. Hotel accommodation. Final dinner. (At will - you can make a descent on inflatable boats along the rushing mountain river - rafting, in the Boom gorge)
